Yay finally I'm writing on my blog! i sure miss doing this coz it's been my way of helping myself to relax & be able to express myself.
Anyway, I'm posting this coz i would like to join @HealthyPasta "LBB For a Healthier Me" inspiration pinterest board. This will show how we are keeping healthy for year 2015 & how my family is doing our best to keep us fit & healthy not just for this year but for the years to come :)
Here are the things we do for a healthier us:
taking care of our pets is one great way to keep us healthy, fit & happy knowing they are all well taken cared of. this are our chickens & we love having fresh eggs everyday (another way to be healthy :)
We love to go for a walk & hiking, being outdoors allows us to enjoy the environment, be w/ the nature and stay fit (beside it's a free & lots of fun)
whenever we stay in a hotel or visit a friend who have a pool in the community we make sure that we take advantage of the free swimming we get :) my 5yo loves it & so are we!
we love to go to parks, my hubby knows that if I'm feeling blue all he have to do is bring me to a park & my blues will go away (a healthy mind = a healthy body & soul!)
we also love gardening! it provides us organic fruits & veggies that we can use year round, saves us money in a long way too!
We have been cooking our meal at home & avoiding going outside to eat, this way we know what we are eating & its a lot of fun working w/ my son!
lastly, we have been buying Dreamfields pastas in the store near us. They are healthier kind of pasta & really delish. I always make sure that i stock up whenever i see them on sale @foodlion :) If you haven't try them out yet make sure you look for the black box in the pasta aisle :)
