DIY natural windshield washer fluid (how to make home made windshield and or mirror cleaner)

So I have been driving around with this horrible windshield and keep forgetting to buy our windshield washer fluid. Today, I have enough of hardly seeing the road so I decided why not make my own instead of buying the store bought washer fluid. I figure if I can clean our mirrors and glass using my DIY cleaner why not try and see if I can make it work as well on my van. 

So there goes the plan that I will try it as soon as I get home. 

Told hubby my plan and he is a bit skeptical that it is going to work and that he doesn't like the smell of vinegar. I assured him that it wont have that smell coz I am adding rubbing alcohol so It should balance the scent plus, I'd rather have the scent of vinegar than the strong ammonia smell of the windshield washer fluid that he always gets.

So here's what you need to make your own natural windshield washer fluid:

• empty 1 gallon container
• 1 cup vinegar
• 1 cup rubbing alcohol
• 2 tbsp dish soap (use natural dish soap to keep it all natural)
• water (I used the filtered water from our fridge)
• just pour the first 3 liquid ingredients to the empty container and then fill it with water. Tilt it up and down to mix.

The verdict?!?

It is squeaky clean! I can't wait to brag about it to my hubby and tell him how much we are going to save buying the commercial kind windshield washer fluid. It probably cost us $0.75 for the whole gallon. That is $2 savings each week ($96/year savings WOW)
